Halloween Fashion and Copper Headbands

I'm back after my brief sabbatical. K's cold was passed to me, and of course, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I am so excited. Halloween is just around the corner. It's my all time favorite holiday. I love it even more than Christmas. I used to be a legend in my old hometown for my decorating. But, now, I live in the country and have to take pleasure in the little things I can do and find for Halloween. While shopping for some cardstock to try some new packaging/card designs on, I happened down the Halloween aisle where I discovered the most awesome Halloween inspired makeup. So, of course, I had to get some. They are called Fantasy Makers by the creators of Wet n Wild. I got this awesome glitter nail polish whose lid is shaped like a tombstone. I swear this is the best glitter polish ever. You can see a pic of it on my nails. We also got mini bottles of glow in the dark and blood red nail polish, and a mini glitter lip gloss that has a keychain attached. I'm in love and might have to go back to get the shimmer dust when I'm stocking up on Halloween nail polish.

Believe it or not, I actually worked this weekend. I was quite productive. My newest piece has just been listed in my shop. It was inspired by my persuasion bangle. I happened to be talking to a customer about headband designs and thought how fabulous that would be in a headband. So, here it is. I think it turned out pretty well, and I have to say I am in love with how the ends turned out. It's really very comfortable to wear and can be formed to the shape of your head. Like I said, it's in my shop if you want to check it out.
