Goodbye Fat!

Dear Fat~

I am breaking up with you. I know we have been together a long time, but truthfully, I won't miss you.

I'm saying goodbye and kicking your, formerly mine, fatty butt out the door. True, you will not go easily, but I won't let that stop me. My friends, Mr. Cycle and Mr. Skinny and Mr. Whatever kind of exercise class you want, have my back.

That's it. I'm done. Don't call me. Don't beckon to me from the cookie and cake aisle. And, don't think you can turn off my alarm to make me miss a class. There are exercise videos on the internet. Hasta la Vista, Fatty!

Sincerely~
Me

URGH! Amen sister. I am a cycle and group ex instructor. I run marathons. But, in May, it all stopped. We moved. Then Sweetie was diagnosed with cancer. Fat has a way of moving in quickly. I am sitting in my gym clothes right now, typing this, trying to "blog a little" before heading out the door. Guess my butt needs to detach from this seat and leave the blogging for later. Before I change my mind about the gym. See ya soon and good luck girl!

Good for you. I try over and over to break up with my fat but he stays....and it even invites more fat to come live here. UGH.
Good Luck!

What a great letter. Maybe I should write my fat a letter.

I'm with you!
I've been on Weight watchers for 11 weeks not and have been working out for 10. I've had enough of it too!

Good luck and stay positive!

Great post! Let me tell you, the older you and your fat get, the less reluctant it is to leave! Take it from someone who knows firsthand!

I just posted on my blog about our new exercise addition!
