Phreaky Phriday Photo

Today is the Phabulous Phriday Photo Phiesta over at Candid Carrie's blog. You know how I love today, and have I got a doozy of a pic for you.

Last weekend, it was rather warm here so we went to the secret beach. It's a small, quiet beach along the Chesepeake Bay. We like to go look for sea glass and pottery. We did very well this day finding some lavendar, olive/black glass, red glass, and all the other normal colors. We also happened to find a bit more.

As I was scouring the beach along the water for glass, I just happened to see this face in the sand.

Doesn't it look like a winking elf with a hat?

Here's a closeup view of it.

It looks remarkably like this face I found over the summer at the same beach except this face came home with me.

What do you think? Isn't that freaky?! I swear the face in the sand was not made by me. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Lots of hugs and love to tide you over until Monday!

That really is freaky amazing! Do you have plans for the face? Do you incorporate the beach glass into your jewelry?

Welcome, Lisa! Glad you enjoyed the photo.

Crafty, I do not have any plans for the face. It kind of just sits next to my desk. Not sure what to do with him. I'm planning on incorporating the sea glass into some of my pieces- if I ever get to it. lol.

Yes, it does look like a winking elf !!!! It's freaky in a good way :-)

I still like looking up at the clouds and seeing images in them. In fact, you can see images in a lot of things if you take the time to look. Fun, isn't it...

That stone is really amazing..

Hi! You were above me on SITS so I'm stopping by! Your sandface picture reminds me of that face in the sand on Mars. I wanted to believe in the aliens - now I am rethinking my whole perspective. Ha!

I can't wait to see what you have to say next month about the amethyst - my birthstone. I've always just loved that it was purple.

Happy New Year!

I'm glad you are getting them now too. Someone let me know that they were messed up so I'm hoping I've got it all fixed now. Let me know if you have anymore problems.
