I like stuff. It's not actually why I have no money, but it's why I want to be the female version of Donald Trump or Bill Gates. I like particular things. I like to collect things. After this neverending remodeling is over, I want all the perfect things to go in my, cross my fingers, amazing house.
In fact, this auction on March 15th has a few things I'm drooling over. It's a specialty auction for them with, I'm sure, prices that will be more than they usually draw but not as much as if you went to one of the top auction houses. I have not seen these pieces in person yet, but here's my current wishlist:
This OMG! amazingly beautiful Art Deco sideboard that I seriously want:
Wouldn't these chairs look cute for K and I with my drafting table?!
This Art Deco silver tea set would look fantastic on that sideboard:
I want this cabinet for my bathroom:
These plant stands need to be refinished but would look fantastic with a teak stain and in my sunroom:
And, just because I cannot resist jewelry:
Are those pieces just not the best?! Anyone want to contribute to my birthday fund? You can see more of the pieces to be auction by following the link then clicking the March 15th links in the sidebar. If you happen to be in the Eastern Shore area and want to go, let me know, and I'll go with you.
So, what's on your wishlist?

Cool stuff.
I have a hard time at auctions. If I see something (I can afford) I want to buy it.....I don't want to fight someone else for it (bidding).
That sideboard is a beauty. Do you plan to go?
Love the signature!
Oh wow, I love everything. Unfortunatly I'm far to shy to make a bid!
Hope you ger all that you have wished for! :-)

Ok, so that explains why *you* have no money...what about why *I* have no money? LOL!
hello - im stopping over from sits to say hi! :)
Yummy stuff!
I wish I could go with you we would have a blast!!
Yep, I have no money for the same reason. :)
Although I have to say that I have been coveting a certain bed in Pottery Barn kids and kept checking Craiglist. My perserverance has paid off and I found something very close and better yet an antique. It will go in my daughters bedroom when she moves away this spring. Sniff! I am burying the pain in stuff. :)
I am a REALTOR and often find great pieces for sale by the homeowners. I am getting to the point where I have to STOP acquiring things. I have run out of room.
I just found your blog through SITS. I am reaching out to my fellow bloggers to introduce my non profit, Parenthood for Me.org.
