Tongue Twister Day

Did you know today is Tongue Twister Day?

I thought I would share a couple of tongue twisters. Some you might have heard and some you might not.

1. A skunk sat on a stump and thunk the stump stunk, but the stump thunk the skunk stunk.

2. Six thick thistle sticks. Six thick thistles stick. (That one's hard.)

3. A tree toad loved a she-toad
Who lived up in a tree.
He was a two-toed tree toad
But a three-toed toad was she.
The two-toed tree toad tried to win
The tree-toed she-toad's hear,
For the two-toed tree toad loved the ground
That the three-toed tree toad trod.
But the two-toed tree toad tried in vain.
He couldn't please her whim.
From her tree toad bower
With her three-toed power
The she-toad vetoed him. (I love that one!)

4. If Stu chews shoes, should Stu choose the shoes he chews?

5. Give papa a cup of proper coffee in a copper coffee cup. (Maybe I should make copper coffee cups for Get The Bean )

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope your weekend was well.

Did #1 so here's my list of random facts:
1. I'm completely and utterly terrified of the dark. Scares me to death. I even sleep with the tv on so I don't have to sleep in the dark and can say I don't sleep with a nightlight.
2. I have no blood siblings, but I have three half brothers and one half sister. The oldest is about twenty years older than I.
3. I won my high school's Shakespeare competition and went to the state competition where I did not win.
4. Used to be a roofer.
5. I don't celebrate my birthday. In fact, it usually takes me at least 5 minutes to figure out how old I am.
6. I've worn glasses since 2nd grade and am technically legally blind without either my glasses or my contacts.
7. I like the smell of the marsh. Don't know why. Just like it.
