Weirdos Unite!

Today is Wonderful Weirdos Day! It's all about celebrating the wacky and wonderful. You know, the people and things that keep life interesting.

I'm a weirdo because.....

I have been known on occasion (every time I hear a good song over the loudspeakers) to spontaneously break out into dance. This includes in my yard, in my living room, in my kitchen, in the car, and much to the chagrin of my daughter, in the middle of a store. Mostly in the middle of stores. This is usually accompanied by singing if the song is even moderately good which it usually is if I'm dancing. Let's just say I'm not climbing to the top of the charts with my singing.

I'm a weirdo because.....

I name absolutely everything. Everything has to have a name. Don't care if it's inanimate or not it still needs a name. And, the names I give are weird according to the Mr. Man. My rototiller is Tillah the Killah. My fish are Harvey, Hildy, Jaws, Cloudy (two guesses who named that one), Gertrude. My old computer was Stupid Computer. As mentioned yesterday, my secretary is Lola Hernandez who is a Sony palm-like device. She needed two names because she needed love after being rescued from the dump. Timmy the Jimmy is the truck. Don't really think I need to go on, do I?

Well. I'm just a weirdo. So, fellow weirdos, join me in the celebration of our weirdness! Hug the weirdo next to you. Put on a big and wacky hat and walk down main street. Whether you're a weirdo or not, today is a day to celebrate what makes us unique and wonderful. Face it. Everyone is weird in their own way.
