More Candy for Me

Happy Halloweeeeen! Not only is it Halloween, but it is Phriday Photo Phiesta on Candid Carrie's blog. In honor of this once in a lifetime event(well, maybe not, but a first for me), I have decided to show photos of the Halloween variety.

My favorite photo this week is the goat dressed up as a joker. This is my photo. I actually saw this goat. These people must love Halloween to force a goat to wear a joker hat. Though, the goat seems to actually like her snazzy outfit, but I think she wants to be a princess next year. What do you think?

Here is the pumpkin my mother and daughter carved all by theirselves. This is extraordinary in its self because this is only the second year my mother has ever(and I mean ever) carved a pumpkin. I always carved the pumpkins when I was at home and even after that. This one is actually tougher than last year. Not a bad job. Wonder if she'll try doing portraits next year.

I saved the best for last. The "I'm so thrilled to have my photo taken in the costume I picked out but no longer want to wear" photo. Such a happy child, don't you think? She was supposed to be Morticia Adams, and her partner, I mean Pumpkin, in crime is my mother's dog. This photo also proves I cannot take pictures of actual people.

And, since it is Halloween, here is a site to check out for carving pumpkins this year or in the future- Spookmaster. There are some incredible pumpkin patterns here. You've got to check it out. We're going to do a skull pattern we found on there, I think. Or, if you don't like all that mess, check out this pumpkin carving site. All from the safety of your computer and no mess!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! While I'm eating my "stolen out of the kid's trick or treating bag" Reese's cup, I will be thinking of you, my bloggy buddy, and hoping you're having a spooky Halloween!
