Making an Appearance at InTouch Weekly

I have been keeping this hush hush for a few weeks now, but I'm ready to unveil my big news.

Remember the Mad Hatter Army? Well..... I made all those for a marvelous PR company who was planning a party for the release of the Alice in Wonderland DVD. The party was the idea of one of the exec producers of the movie. How cool is that?!

So, those lovely people have passed on one of their swag bags to InTouch Weekly who is hosting a giveaway. Besides the Mad Hatter Ring, you could win a Sony Bloggie, Opi makeup, the Alice DVD, and lots of other things. The big thing is you could win a Mad Hatter Ring which we all know really is the coolest thing in the bag. *wink, wink* See it right there in the front in the cute little red heart box?

Mad Hatter Army

Just when I was getting back into the blogging world, the Mad Hatter Army attacked.

50 of those little buggers showed up at my door. Creeping along in typical Mad Hatter fashion.

Seriously. Look.

It's not the best pic, but I had to be sneaky. These little devils have been occupying my time for the last two weeks. But, after burning my fingers and 3 lbs of copper, they were finished. I even burnt my face. I looked like that girl from the Alien v Predator movie when she gets the mark for an alien kill.

They were off to California to be in a very special Alice in Wonderland swag bag. I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and anything else I can cross that everyone enjoyed them. Maybe some celeb will show up in a magazine wearing one of them. Look how pretty they were when in their boxes.

Mad Hatter Day

October 6th is designated Mad Hatter Day, a day to celebrate silliness. Why Oct. 6? Because the Mad Hatter wore a tag on his top hat that said 10 6, the price of the hat. It's partner is April's Fools day which is considered to be a more mean spirited version since tricks are normally played.



The wonder child wore her brightly colored checkerboard print socks in the spirit of the day. So, grab a top hat....




and celebrate an unbirthday or wear some crazy socks. Whatever you do, just have a lot of fun on this October Tuesday.
