It's a sad day here. I know I was supposed to do Home Improvement Roundup, but I wanted to write about this instead.While to some of you it may seem silly, to me I've lost a friend. The only vehicle I have ever liked has been taken to the scrapyard. My 86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a 360 Big Block has lost the war so to speak. I'm very sad. I loved that truck. It was the best vehicle I've ever had, but we decided it was too much money and time to fix her.
We went through a lot together. Races, accidents, dark country roads. The Jeep saved my life once. I was in an accident while pregnant with K that could've been very serious if I had been in any other vehicle. It was all the steel. She never lost a race though she weighed 3 and 3/4 tons. She could rip Hell up by the roots then run so fast the devil himself couldn't have caught her.
I cried when she was loaded on the trailer to leave. Seems silly, doesn't it? I kind of felt the need to commemorate her on her so she'll live on forever. I think it's possible that she was actually crying too. Goodness knows, she never wanted to stop going even when broken and bruised.
