That up there is my latest creation which I adore. I saw those blue chalcedonys and immediately thought of the ocean. So, the Seabreeze Necklace was born. I hand-formed the necklace from copper wire, prehnite, and chalcedony. It's so lightweight, elegant yet fun. It's scrumptious, I think. It'll be in my shop later today if you would like a better look.
While I was crafting this necklace, I decided to take a little break, well maybe not. I went to the fleamarket. I love fleamarkets. You never know what you will find. It is the middle of winter around here so it wasn't as populated as I would've liked, but it was still fun. I got a brand new set of pliers for my jewelry. I got a great deal. Yeah! Like 5 pliers for $4. I also found these really cool Asian inspired coins with dragons on them. The guy selling them tried to pretend they were something extra special, but I think they were just touristy coins. Why do I think this? Could it be because another vendor was selling a set of them for less than the other guy? Who cares?! At least, I won't feel bad when I make them into jewelry.
