Happy Halloweeeeen! Not only is it Halloween, but it is Phriday Photo Phiesta on Candid Carrie's blog. In honor of this once in a lifetime event(well, maybe not, but a first for me), I have decided to show photos of the Halloween variety.
My favorite photo this week is the goat dressed up as a joker. This is my photo. I actually saw this goat. These people must love Halloween to force a goat to wear a joker hat. Though, the goat seems to actually like her snazzy outfit, but I think she wants to be a princess next year. What do you think?
Here is the pumpkin my mother and daughter carved all by theirselves. This is extraordinary in its self because this is only the second year my mother has ever(and I mean ever) carved a pumpkin. I always carved the pumpkins when I was at home and even after that. This one is actually tougher than last year. Not a bad job. Wonder if she'll try doing portraits next year.
I saved the best for last. The "I'm so thrilled to have my photo taken in the costume I picked out but no longer want to wear" photo. Such a happy child, don't you think? She was supposed to be Morticia Adams, and her partner, I mean Pumpkin, in crime is my mother's dog. This photo also proves I cannot take pictures of actual people.
And, since it is Halloween, here is a site to check out for carving pumpkins this year or in the future- Spookmaster. There are some incredible pumpkin patterns here. You've got to check it out. We're going to do a skull pattern we found on there, I think. Or, if you don't like all that mess, check out this pumpkin carving site. All from the safety of your computer and no mess!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! While I'm eating my "stolen out of the kid's trick or treating bag" Reese's cup, I will be thinking of you, my bloggy buddy, and hoping you're having a spooky Halloween!

Came over from SITS!! Awesome job on the pumpkin. I've never done one myself.
Happy Halloween!
I think the goat wants to EAT the hat!LOL
Cute photos--thanks for sharing the fun links, too.
Psst… I gave you an award if you want to stop by and pick it up :D
Her expression is priceless! I *love* Morticia, what a cool costume :)
Have fun trick-or-treating!
And the pumpkin came out awesome!
Ah yeah~ I am a fellow "No, there weren't any Reese's cups in your bag" thief. :)
I'll have to take advantage of the second link next year for Halloween. After our pumpkins turned to much, I'm done carving the things ;)
Oh yes, the costume you wanted, but now don't want to wear... I so remember those!
But she looks great and so does her partner!
I pondered getting some sort of costume for our cat, but she shot me a look that told me to stop even thinking that. I think I'd have better luck strapping a Groucho Marx mask on my kiddo's goldfish... :D
Hope you enjoyed your Halloween, SITSta! Cheers!
That goat is too funny! Can't believe he didn't start eating the costume!
Oh I am so surprised that the goat didn't eat that costume! Mine would have!!
I hate the mess of carving pumpkins so this year I gave the boys sharpie markers and turned them loose! The pumpkins actually turned out great =) but not as good as yours.
I love your daughter in her costume... she looks positively thrilled!
that goat is hysterical!
LOVE the pics :) I think you might be better than you think at getting us visits... ;)
Hope all is well and thanks for all the support!!
xoxo
