Mine, mine, mine!

I am extremely territorial when it comes to certain things. Notice I said certain things. There are a few things I want nothing to do with. It's not that I'm stingy. Allow me to explain.

My computer. It's mine. All mine. Don't touch it unless I've had a fatal error and my hard drive has crashed. I want nothing to do with the installation process, but I'm more than happy to share what I want installed. Please don't breathe on my computer. No, I don't want you looking over my shoulder when I'm reading my email or on Twitter. If I say don't mess with my computer when I have to run and do something ever so quickly and there's a window open, I actually mean don't look at whatever is on the screen. Passwords are stored in my head so forget it.

Is this strange? It's not that I'm up to something. I know anyone can read my blog or my twitter and can pretty much stalk me on the internet, but still. My computer is mine. I don't want anyone messing with it.

Then there is Lola Hernandez, my secretary. She's really only a real secretary in my brain. I'm probably one of the last people in the world who use a palm device instead of a phone. But, she's my Lola, and I love her. Plus, she's free. Seriously. Don't ask Lola something when I'm not home and have accidentally left her at home. I don't care who's phone number you need.

Now, you can have the grass just don't mess with my garden. The house can be yours until it's done being remodeled. That parking space is mine on Sundays cause don't you know I always park there on Sundays.

I fear I am a bit stingy. Don't look down on me. I'm trying to be a better person, and truthfully, I would give you the shirt off my back.

This is just a prequel to what is coming tomorrow. Hope you'll come back. I'll explain why I'm a weirdo and proud of it. It's National Weirdos Day, and I'm going to celebrate!

Now, don't mess with my stuff!
