A bit of Decorating

Today is round 2 of playing catch up. There were so many decorating bloggy parties I wanted to participate in, but I didn't even do any decorating until just a few days ago. Rest assured though while I may not have commented on blogs I did read them. This makes a good post today anyway while everyone is preparing for all the holiday festivities.

Here is my Christmas tree. All bright and lovely. Please ignore the messiness in the background. As I have said before we are remodeling, we have run out of drywall, and the 5lb tub of drywall mud has disappeared. Seriously, who loses a 5lb tub of drywall mud?! Also, ignore what looks like a hole in the branches. It is a hole thanks to a pet who shall remain nameless.

Here is a closeup of my sweet little elf I received from one of Laura's friday freebies which then inspired me to buy the next two ornaments at my Goodwill.

Next is my little sidetable. Look at the beautiful poinsettia tablecloth that came with my pretty elf. On top is one of my snowmen and part of my paper gingerbread village.

Well, I'm off to the man's company holiday breakfast then back to make gingerbread cookies for Santa then off to the various family units for some presents. I hope you have a beautiful and love filled holiday! And, whatever you may be doing, please stay safe!

I love your Goodwill ornaments! Hope your pet doesn't get a lump of coal in it's stocking. We're wondering about Rudi who got into the Christmas chocolate~bad dog!

Everything looks great, despite the hole in the branches, lol! I love the little bird ornament. I was always fond of birds on our tree.

Happy New Year!

I love the look of the tree. It's softness.

I'm not suprised you were slammed, you're so dang talented.

He *loved* his ring. I gave it to him right as he was about to back out of the driveway to leave on our mini-vacay. It was perfect, thank you.

Hope your holidays are good ones,

Nat
